non surgical for non melanoma
Yes, there is a non surgical treatment option for non melanoma skin cancer –
and we have it
It's true. Surgery is no longer the only option for treatment for the two most common forms of non melanoma skin cancer: basal cell cancer and squamous cell cancer. There is an alternative that involves no cutting and is virtually painless.
It takes very little time to complete a treatment. There is little or no scarring. And best of all the cure rates are very high with early detection and treatment -- and the cost could be covered in whole or part by your insurance company.
Introducing the Sensus SRT-100, a breakthrough technology for the treatment of non-melanoma skin cancers that is now available at two of our locations (Dalton and Rome) in Georgia and one location (Cleveland) in Tennessee. We will also be offering this non-melanoma skin cancer treatment option at our Chattanooga clinic in mid 2013.
What is non melanoma skin cancer?
A non-melanoma skin cancer typically appears on an area of your skin that is exposed to the sun. About three-quarters of non-melanoma skin cancers are basal cell carcinomas, the balance (25%) are squamous cell carcinomas.
You could also be at higher risk of developing a non melanoma skin cancer if you have a light complexion, fair skin or have a weak immune system.
